Production Method

Each day, fresh, hand-picked Jasmine blossoms, harvested over a 5 to 6-month period, serve as the raw material. The extraction process involves immersing the flowers in hexane, enabling the solvent to absorb the essential oils and aromatic compounds. After extraction, the resulting mixture is known as "concrete." To obtain the precious Jasmine absolute, the hexane is separated and replaced with ethanol. The ethanol displaces the essential oils, leaving behind a highly concentrated aromatic compound. In this process, wax is generated as a by-product. Additionally, producers may offer a steam-distilled essential oil, directly derived from the fresh blossoms.
